Until The Walls Cave In, BalletCollective (2016)
Choreography: Troy Schumacher
Music: Ellis Ludwig-Leone

Until the Walls Cave In is the sixth collaboration between Troy Schumacher and Ellis Ludwig-Leone, inspired by their collaboration with the architect James Ramsey, the creator of the Lowline, the world’s first underground park. Using series of renderings by Ramsey, Schumacher and Ludwig–Leone created a ballet structured around the three elements prevalent in Ramsey’s work: light, cement, and organic life. With an ensemble of seven dancers and six musicians, Until the Walls Cave In interweaves these elements back and forth, together over the course of twenty-five minutes.
